    Hi there,
in 2017 I tested and my Histamine in stool was very very very high and my DAO level was too low.
    I also have Hemopyrrolllactamuria.
I haven’t known what to eat as my body reacts and the skin on my face errupts.
Can you please advise if you can help me and whether you know of skin care for the face that won’t irritate but moisturise senstive skin?
    Thank you so much!

I feel my health is basically leaving my body, and I can’t eat anymore. got diagnosed with IBS-D, which I already knew I had before the doctor told, and she wasn’t really interested in helping me. I guess she knew she couldn’t do anything. Then, I found more and more that I had histamine issues, and I’m pretty sure I have Pyroluria, but no doctor talked to me about it, tested me for it. Things got worse for me about 20 years ago when I got food poisoning in Egypt to where I had trouble with a lot of gluten and things that were dairy.

Very interesting information. Makes sense. I have a slew of things but here is my current issue. I can’t tolerate ANY zinc supplements (also cannot take any multivitamins) Tried all sorts of formulations. No matter what, I’m in severe pain. If I take with food then it’s pain and vomiting. I have to watch my iron levels, so the meats I can eat that are high in zinc I have to eat more sparingly. For the past year I have had little desire for meats/proteins which is unusual because I’ve always been a higher protein girl, but could it be my body saying “too much iron” ?(pcp watching for iron overload and hemochromatosis). Also, I already eat organic, non GMO, minimal processed foods, minus occasional treats which are few and far between, I rarely eat out because of all my food sensitivities, etc… So anyway, how the heck am I supposed to get the amount of zinc I need without the iron getting worse??? 😭 I’m a wreck

What a great article. I’m being tested for pyroluria at the moment and have always craved chocolate and it’s the one thing I struggle with the idea of not having! I’ll obviously wait until I get the results but I’ll avoid it for now.

I loved this article. When I saw you reference Dr Walsh’s book I knew that you knew your stuff. To treat mental illness it is crucial to understand the five biotypes of depression.
I have been tested by a Walsh trained doctor and have both severe pyrrole disorder and severe undermethylation. This makes dieting tricky because of avoiding anything enriched with folic acid and niacin.
I’ve been struggling with my pyrrole symtoms for months which is very strange. I spent two years keeping those specific symtoms at bay but this year my body isn’t taking to the zinc well.
Is there a way to tell if malabsorbtion is happening? I’ll be happy to give you any details about my symptoms you like.

Hi Justin, thanks for reaching out. I’m not able to comment on any individual cases without review, feel free to book a consult when ready. Thx

Thank you, a lot of good information! I have re-activated KPU, cu/zn out of balance, Lyme & co-infections for over 22 years, mold illness, etc, and have been doing a low Cu diet again for about a month. I want to get a good whole food organic vit c, do you have a brand you suggest? I stopped eating kiwis when I checked the Cu level, had been using powdered organic camu camu for C but also has high Cu. Thanks so much! -S.

I have histamine issues indeed. So I can’t eat rosehip, kiwi och citrus.
What vit C source should I use?
I have also noticed I can’t eat ascorbic acid :/ They have actually put ascorbic acid in the dao enzymes I have bought. So I am reacting to that 🙁
