    Hi Annie,

I know, it is very frustrating when a profession we put a lot of trust in doesn’t have all the answers and often gives us the wrong ones. There are many many parents who also feel this way about childhood vaccinations and are now struggling with a lot of health issues their children would have never had if the doctors didn’t put things like mercury into vaccines…..This is just a sign of our times.
I think the second part of the show next week will address the issues with statin drugs, so be sure to watch that.
My recommendation would be to see an experienced naturopath who can help address the underlying health issues and re-evaluate cholesterol lowering drugs in light of these. If you send me an email through the contact form on the website I can send you the details of somebody who is very good at this.

    Hope that helps,
    Maria

So where does this leave us “stupid” oldies who have trusted our doctors, who have trusted the scientists, and are on the so called cholesterol drugs, do we just dump them or wean off them without health repercussions? That wasn’t covered on the show, there will be a lot of people not sure of what is the right eay to go about this.

Taking a keen interest in our health and taking ownership of it is so important, couldn’t agree more. That’s how I ‘fixed’ my own health problems and that’s how I hope to help others fix theirs! Health requires a lot of detective work and most doctors just don’t have the time for that.

I think what has happened is that people have become lazy about their health and leave it up to the doctors and when they say if that drug doesnt work well we have others they just hand responsibility over to them.Of course modern science is beyond question, because not everyone has gained a degree in medicine. However those doctors are only as good as the knowledge they are given.
We should be questioning and finding out the facts for ourselves.Im a great believer in the KISS principal in life.Keep It Simple Stupid and the same goes with our food too. There is also much we can learn from other cultures that can enrich our lives.
